We were so excited to get out and learn in our community today. We went to Maui Tropical Plantation where we had a tram tour to learn about the different trees and plants grown on the property. We saw trees and plant such as the jack fruit tree and coffee plant that we can't see in our neighborhood. We saw how to husk a coconut and learned the benefits of coconut water. Then we had a yummy picnic lunch from "The Stoop" cafe while watching people zip lining overhead. We ended the day feeding the ducks and fish at the lagoon. It was a very busy and fun learning experience with friends and our families. A special thank you to Albert (Managing Partner) and Lee (F & B Director) of Maui Tropical Plantation for helping us make this a fun outing for everyone, and for the surprise fresh baked cookies.Tram TourLunch TimeRun & ExploreWe have been busy learning nursery rhymes. We focused on "Hey Diddle Diddle" and "Humpty Dumpty". There are many reasons nursery rhymes are beneficial to children such as building memory and language skills.
